Chinese consumers are in the lead when it comes to ordering online, going so far as to order their groceries through chains that offer delivery. Many of these consumers are utilizing their smartphones and tablets as a way to shop online, now more than ever compared to the use of computers to order these goods and services.

The graphic below showcases just how Chinese consumers are utilizing their smartphones and other devices when shopping online. In terms of reading reviews, smartphone users are doing this mostly in the electronics sector, while they are also using their smartphones to scan QR codes of products in electronic stores. When it comes to using or asking for a discount or coupon, most Chinese consumers are utilizing this in the grocery store via their smartphone.
