WeChat, the personal instant messaging mobile application, founded in 2011 and now has 600 million monthly users. Before starting to use WeChat, individuals need to register a personal account and corporations have to choose public accounts among enterprise, service and subscription types to find a good fit for companies (see below).
One important thing is that once you decide which type of accounts, it is impossible to change later. Also the listed needed documents are only applicable to Chinese organization.
The new enterprise account service is to provide more personal experience for corporations to help enhance internal communication. This service shares the same visibility as service account (conversation doesn’t show in a dedicated chat folder) and supports all types of files such as PDF, word, etc. This user-invited-only account can be game-changing for companies with send out unlimited messages, and location share (LBS) functions.
