Tencent released the October 2015 WeChat Life White Paper exploring users’ demographics and behavior. Aside from messages and moments, users also spent a lot of time on WeChat internet calls. Users enjoyed the LBS function to check in, and according to the study, the most popular places during this period were the West Lake in Hangzhou and Hong Kong.
