New Online Shopping Platform in Hong Kong

For Chinese shoppers, a new shopping platform available online could be a great way for them to find the latest products that are available from those niche brands. The platform called Popmap, was officially launched in June.

Popmap was founded by Idris Sersoub as a way for those independent brands out there to showcase what they have to offer the Chinese consumer. The number of items the platform offers ranges from clothing, shoes, to home wares and artwork. The offerings are limitless, and they are all available from boutique stores throughout China. They have over 15,000 products on the platform that are coming from around 173 boutique retailers around Hong Kong.

The platform can be used on both Apple and Android devices for shopping

The platform allows for users to search for an item, a specific color, or even by their favorite retailer to find the product that is of interest to them. This high amount of search options make it easy to overlook the plain design of the platform. Though the design may be plain but the interface is very user friendly making it easy to find what you may be looking for.

Local boutiques that can be found on Popmap are Konzepp, Kapok and Square Street

Sersoub looks to expand the number of Chinese brands offered, and also reach out to those boutiques who are outside of the Hong Kong area to include on the platform.

Popmap is all about offering customers a wonderful experience while shopping, which is why they offer several customer services. These services include updates on how many of the particular product you are interested in are left in stock, as well as connecting you directly with the boutique when a certain item is needed. They also offer hour shipping within Hong Kong for a flat rate of $60. As of right now, only those who are in Hong Kong have access to this platform, however, Sersoub is hoping to change this as soon as possible.
