The “Ten Commandments” are intended as a checklist for brands focussed on China – entering or already present. Branding in China often becomes misguided due to assumptions made by marketers in the absence of clear strategy and insight.
The over reliance on assumptions results from the sheer size of China, the fundamental differences in culture and the relative newness of consumer culture here.
